US and Canada Playstation Vita gamers won’t be enjoying one of the most talked about features in Japan. The UMD Passport Program will not be rolled out for North America. However, they will still be able to download the full digital version of games that are available on the online store.

The PS Vita Bundle Pack is currently listed at Amazon for only $300. This offer includes, besides the console itsef, a 8gb memory card, a Data Pass for a PlayStation Network game, and free 3g with a 250MB cap for one month, aka “DataConnect Session Pass”

Beware that this bundle applies only to the 3g version, so far, there hasn’t been any announcements for the Wi-Fi version.
